When the time to move any form of heavily weighted cargo (such as equipment or furniture) it is strongly advised that ratchet straps are utilized in order to secure cargo during the transportation process.  Choosing the correct ratchet strap for each transport will be a matter of evaluating the weight of the cargo and the vehicle that will be used to convey it from place to place. Traditionally ratchet straps are manufactured in 1 inch, 2 inch, 3 inch, and 4 inch sizes made from polyester webbing with 1,500 lb. to 20,000 lb. ratings. Custom ratchet straps can be created for needs not met by the standard options.
